Daniel Dreifuss
Los Angeles–based film and television producer with the rare distinction of having produced Oscar-contending films from two different countries: the Oscar-winning All Quiet on the Western Front (2022) and the Oscar-nominated No (2012). Born in the UK and raised in Brazil, he has built a global career producing acclaimed works that have premiered at Cannes, Toronto, Sundance, New York, and Telluride. His credits include Sergio, Guernica, You’ll Never Be Alone, and Showtime’s Ghosts of Beirut. A graduate of the American Film Institute, Dreifuss received Globo’s Make a Difference Award for his historic achievement as the first Brazilian to produce an Academy Award–winning film.
Pedro Paulo Araujo
Brazilian screenwriter, development executive, and producer based in Los Angeles. Raised across Africa, Asia, and South America, he brings a global perspective to storytelling that bridges cultures and blends the poetic with the psychological. He began his career directing music videos before moving into screenwriting and film development, and has participated in leading international festivals and markets including Cannes, Sundance, Toronto, and New York. Through his work at Anima Pictures, Pedro continues to champion distinctive, globally minded cinema.
